A police raid of rapper Waka Flocka’s Georgia home this morning on suspicion of prostitution instead turned up drugs and guns, and resulted in at least two arrests – one of whom was rapper Gucci Mane. It seems these guys have not learned their lesson and just want to go to jail. Bright and early at 7:00 a.m. in the morning police and law enforcement officials were at the door.
According to the search warrant, police were looking for “marijuana, articles, pictures, and communications relating to gangs and gang paraphernalia” as part of the raid. Cops said they ended up finding marijuana, prescription drugs, and two firearms.
Waka was not home at the time but Gucci Mane, who was at the residence, was handcuffed at the scene — and eventually freed.
Police say two other men in the house were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana — less than an ounce. The suspects are 20-year-olds Johan Antney, of Jamaica, New York, and Tyrell Mingo, of Stockbridge.
Although the rapper, whose real name is Jaquin Malphurs, lives at the home, he rents it from someone else, police said. They said he was not at home during the raid.
As for Waka, law enforcement sources tell the website they confiscated the guns — Kel Tech .223 caliber sub gun, and a Taurus .40 caliber semi automatic – as well as prescription drugs from his house.
